Built bold. By design.
Thundering Waters is one of only a handful of John Daly–designed courses in the world — and the only one wrapped in the unmistakable energy of Niagara Falls.
A course that refused to be ordinary.
When Thundering Waters was conceived, the brief was simple: build a championship course worthy of the destination it would call home. Niagara Falls had everything — the visitors, the energy, the geography — but lacked a course with a real personality.
Two-time major champion John Daly was the answer. Known for boldness, fearless lines, and a "let it fly" philosophy, Daly brought his signature design language to Niagara: generous fairways, demanding approaches, water in play where it mattered, and greens with real teeth.
The result is a course that plays differently every round. One that asks real questions of great golfers and welcomes every level in between.

Bold by design
Daly's risk-reward principles built into every hole. Boring isn't on the menu.
Rooted in Niagara
More than a venue. A genuine part of the Niagara golf and visitor landscape.
Community first
Hundreds of thousands raised for local charities. We're proud of the ledger.

John Daly — grip it and rip it.
Thundering Waters was designed by golf legend and fan favorite, John Daly. One of the most recognized and popular players in golf, this 2-time major winner is known primarily for his long driving distance and power on the course. JD has always been a challenger for the Driving Distance crown and has won that title a record-setting 11 times.
Daly is not only known for his long drives off the tee, but also for his huge heart — primarily in supporting children's charities across Canada and the US. Locally, Daly has contributed over $70,000 in appearance and skins game earnings to local youth and children's programs including Boys & Girls Club, John Howard Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and more.

More than a course.
A destination.
Thundering Waters sits in one of the most visited regions in North America — minutes from the Falls, the wineries, the casinos, and downtown Niagara. We're a natural part of any trip to the area, and a course that visitors come back for.
For locals, we're the home course. For visitors, we're the round that makes the trip.
